RE: 3 reasons I refuse to use WiFry (despite making a living working online)

in #conspiracy9 months ago

lol I tried to get the cable guy to show me how to hardwire when he installed the cable. Even though hardwiring was the only way for a homeowner to access the internet not all that long ago, and certainly during his time as a cable guy, he did not know how to do it. He told me all sorts of BS about the router, such as, if I didn't keep it on, it would miss its nightly update, and stop functioning. I have it for when more than one person needs to access it at a time. So simple to just reboot the modem.

I do wish I could have more than one device plugged into the modem at one time, I don't trust that the router will actually not be broadcasting if its plugged in at all.

I started your book two days ago. So far, I'm loving it. It's reminding me of the BS I experienced because I wouldn't wear a mask, or isolate, quarantine, or keep my mouth shut. Thanks for reminding us about the little injustices so many of us seem to have forgotten.

Funny ... but sad story :-)
