RE: The Psychology Of Control: The Manufacturing Of Gang Culture & The Drug War

in #conspiracy7 years ago (edited)

This article is fantastic!

"It’s my belief that this mantra had a dual purpose, a message that alternated between classes, communities and perceptions. Black communities were already disenfranchised and isolated from the myth of middle America and so their message was “it’s cheap to make and yields huge profits”. It was akin to a propagandic war on psychology, reverse psychology; a strategically placed viral advertising campaign to spread the virus of crack, sadly it worked."

I think the same goes for the DARE pr-
ogram. I think that was advertising too.

Thank you my friend .. really glad you appreciated the post! I will have to look into the DARE program some more, but yes you could very well be right. In my experience youth that are gravitating towards a life of crime/gang culture are only likely to listen to people that have been in a similar situation and turned their lives around .. they won't listen to the authorities. Thanks again @thoughts-in-time
