Other hammerbeam roofs feature in the halls of Hampton Court, Eltham palaces, Burghley House near Stamford, and several English churches. Holyrood Abbey was built before the hammerbeam technique was developed (and is now a roofless ruin) as was the Tower of London; Kensington Palace is a 17th century building.
