RE: 100% SBD Give-Away 0002

While browsing 8ch.net/pol/ I discovered a thread that pointed to this Steemit post by @theshadowbrokers. This was the day when they released those stolen NSA files that included several exploits that powered the infamous WannaCry malware. Although these exploits were interesting to browse, I was more intrigued by the website on which they were announced, which is of course our beloved Steemit. The "upvote" counter caught my sight as it had a $ sign next to it. What could this possibly mean? At first I thought that this website allows people to tip the authors, but after doing some digging I finally understood that Steemit was just a front-end of a very powerful blockchain. Being a chain-n00b at that point, I thought it was just another scam that promised money from nothing, but after doing even more research, I decided that no, it isn't a scam and plus, what do I have to lose? I finally registered and started posting. My first few posts didn't accumulate more than 5 cents, so I gave up on posting. It was after I started becoming actually active in the community, talking to people in the comments and upvoting other people's posts, I started gaining at least some cash. I recently achieved 50 followers, for which I am very grateful!

Thanks for your entry, and congratulations on the milestone!
Free money??? It just HAS to be a scam, right?
Seems legit enough for me to get all excited about it. I think this will change how we view the Internet.
