Kalpa is a small town in the Sutlej river valley, above Recong Peo in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, Northern India, in the Indian Himalaya. The village is situated on almost 3000m from sea level. One of my friend from Kalpa village shared this image from me.
The backdrop of the photograph is showing the glimpse on Kinnaur range which includes some 6000 meter plus peaks. The range includes Chokas rang (5650m), Kinner Kailash (6050m), Jorkanden peak (6473m) and Pk (6440m).

'Hippie Beach'. It is located in the west of the island, in an isolated and unspoilt area, which can only be reached by foot.

My entry, Winter Blue Winter with snow is the best winter weather. It makes beautiful, clean landscapes. And the blue hour gives it a nice color.

today I got up at 4am just to shoot this Panorama Photo for this competition on the Dobratsch Mountain.

It was a glorious photo-trip where I was the guide to the remaining eight participants. We were renting a nine-person van with metallic spikes on the tires and were chasing the Northern Lights for hours every night of a week on the roads of Northern Norway, covered with ice. I was also the teacher for those who were beginners with photography so I didn't make as many photos as I would like. Probably the next time, hopefully soon! :)
