RE: 100% SBD Give-Away 0002

Well my story starts in 2009 and I bought physical gold after having zero knowledge about the markets. Something in my gut told me to buy it. It's the weirdest thing too because I was never raised to believe gold has value. I even convinced my father to get some as well. He then got me into silver where i lost 70% value on. My gold went up up up until it got slammed. I dabbled in the onion network as I knew something was very wrong with the economy. I saw bitcoin on the silk road, but I had none and didn't know how to get it. So I clicked some ads and eventually got 0.5 BTC. I then saw in 2013 the price of gold get absolutely slammed! I couldn't understand why considering the Fed fixed absolutely nothing. I then learned about the incredible manipulation and corruption in the markets. I became depressed. I even gambled what little BtC i had (because I didn't know what to do with it). I then followed pundits on the internet. That's about 1 month ago. We have all seen the rise of crypto, but I still don't have an exchange to go to in Canada. So here I am. My only cryptocurrency is Steem
and I'm only collecting it and storing it as SP rather then figure out how I can consume back into a sick fiat currency. Be well and thanks for the opportunity

Oh... Another good story! I like this contest topic. Such interesting stuff to read.

BTW, I spent a whole day trying to find the BEST way to buy Steem in Canada and it seems the exchange that came out at the top of my list is https://www.quadrigacx.com (they are on Commercial Drive in Vancouver, BC) but opening an account there and funding it is a pain. Then by the time I was ready to commit to an exchange, the price of Steem went to $2.40 USD and I decided it was too high for me to get in now with the little bit of cash that I had, so may as well just keep collecting it here slowly. If it ever goes back down below $1 USD, I'm in like flint.

one exchange.. ughhh hopefully something else will come up once I am ready to cash something else

My 2nd choice was https://coinsquare.io who have lower trading fees, but their transfer rates are ugly.
