Thank you to everyone that participated in last weeks contest. There was a larger response to it than I had expected. I enjoyed reading the work you submitted. It was difficult trying to determine who the 2 winners were but the choice had to be made. Before I get to the winners, I would like to share the work of the other people that I also appreciated reading.

Even though she is the one that is sponsoring the contests, she wrote something that others need to hear. I feel that someone will benefit from reading her piece. I know that it was not easy to write because she shares a very personal issue in her life. Yes she may struggle with it at times, she is still the one in control of it. She doesn't allow it to dictate the situation anymore. You can read about it here.

This is a wonderful piece. I related to this very much. Its a great example of "Overcoming Fear". My favorite line from this post was:
In my words fear is simply the death of your self esteem and the dominance of disbelieve in you.
If you need some motivation today, I encourage you to read the post today. You can read more about it here

You would like some simple steps to help overcome fear? If you said yes, this post is for you. Not only is this post offering really good suggestions, its also written in a second language. I thought this was pretty cool!!! The best part about the steps in this post is that she has used them in her own life to overcome fear. So she knows first hand how it feels to be overcome by fear and also how to fight back. If you or someone you know struggles with this, I encourage you to check out this post too. You can read more about it here.
Now for the winners :)

I found this post to be very powerful and also educating. Impostor Syndrome is a real issue that many people fight with, including me. There is a lot of fear residing in this struggle and takes a lot for us to make any kind of progress. This is another great example of how we are never alone or the only ones going through something. A lot of times, I feel like I am the only one dealing with this issue and then I read a post like this. I am then reminded again of the truth. You can find out more here.

Many times in our lives were focus on the negatives and end up doing nothing about it. We allow that negative energy to grow and control our lives. This post is an excellent example of how we are suppose to put that negative energy and thoughts to work. We need to use it to help us make the change in our world that needs to happen. There are many famous people that have done such and this post includes a few of them. Do you ever feel like in pointless to follow your passion or desire to create change? If so, then this post is one you need to read. You can find out more about it here.
Thank you again to everyone that wrote for this contest. Check back tomorrow to see what the next contest will be about. Until then...Share. Inspire. Conquer.
