Are Paper Books Better Than E-Books?
Do you read you books online via Amazon, Kindle, Nook, PDF, etc? Or do you like to curl up with a paperback novel and read the old fasion way? Are paper books on thw way our or will they be around forever?

I love reading and had in excess of 500 books. We moved house and I had to get rid of some stuff, including at least half of the books.
Switching to Kindle was amazing. I now have no books. Everything is on Kindle. Initially, I missed the look, feel, weight and smell of books. Not anymore!
Travelling is even better. I now travel with every book I own. Effortlessly.

I really enjoy ebooks and audiobooks over paper these days. Books are too fragile for me, I like to bring them everywhere so an ereader is super helpful.
Of course! Nothing beats the feel of turning over a page on a real book. I do have e-books myself, but it just is not the same.
I prefer a hand held book as opposed to looking at a screen. But, having a computer that can hold all of the weight twenty books that one can hold in one's hands is tough to beat. It has got to be a trade off.
Not all of what I might want to read can be found in a book just yet; just here in the digital space can it be found.
I hope books stick around. I don't like the fact that things can be change digitally so easily. If the wrong sorts of people want to direct the masses more effectively, all they have to do is change some words and say it has always been like it was. (It will drive us crazy knowing how much stuff they change to their liking.) Having a hard copy of a book, the words will not "magically" change anytime soon.
I read both. I read e-books when I'm on the go and paper books when I have time to sit down and relax.
I read books online or downloaded onto my computer. And I read printed books as well. If I am reading a novel I prefer printed books. They are easier on the eyes and I am more comfortable with them. Shorter books and stories and blogs are OK to read online.

It depends on the situation or where you want to study if you love the technology then the ebook is better.
If you want to take care of your eyes then the paper book
According to me, paper book is preferable. however, we are about loose eyesight by watching this mobiles and computers day and night.

A big no from my side because almost 7 million trees are cutting down just for papers and we all know nature is life. Some people disagree with me they thought physical books are more effective than e-books but I don't think so its mental level problem how focus you are to learn something.
Let's have a real-life example I am a University student and I belong a lower-middle-class family who is hardly affording my college fee and my living expenses and from last four years, I haven't bought a single page book. I have learned everything online absolutely free whether it is my own syllabus or magazines because I can't afford more money for buying books.
You can carry hundreds of e-books without any problem and you are also saving nature, that's amazing !

Hii @bunnypuncher in my opinion Paper books are better because we have the chance to pass each page and have a direct contact with the book, but in my case i read in PDF, because in Venezuela it is impossible to buy a book with all the economic problems, and in recent years most people read in pdf for that reason. In another point, digital books have a positive point because if we want a book urgently, we have the opportunity to find it and download it on the Internet. I read both but any day I will prefer a paper book. I feel I can focus better when I am reading a paper per book. My eyes feel more relaxed with paper books as there is no flashing light on them.

the reality is that everything in this life is an evolution; There is nothing like reading a book in physics, I mean on paper, and feeling the smell of paper, hugging the book, kissing it and even biting it; but as the world progresses and you have to go step by step with it, and at this moment there are audio books, electronic or digital books, which you can find in various formats. and you can read them on different devices like it is on the pc, on the lapto, mini lapto, android phones, but my favorite and favorite is on the tablet, you can also stop and pause reading, have your bookmarks and reread your favorite parts and your space for comments and even chat comments, to make references to the book and criticism, my conclusion is that a story, novel, story, poems; the way you read it; the most important thing is that you finish reading. you knew that reading this helps keep your brain active and this prevents suffering in a future time of Alzheimer's disease, so I most certainly invite you to experiment more often reading. but my favorite at this moment is the electronic book.

Yes paper books are better than e books due to following reason :
1.You can underline , highlight and write any short cut formula anywhere in the book without worrying that whether e books are editable or not .
2.Read books anytime anywhere in any condition without worrying about dying battery and recharging tab /mobile.
3.When you accumulate a lot of print books and put them on your shelf or table, it gives automatic impression on other people think that how much you love reading.
4.you dont have to wait to boot up your device , whereas in print book just select the topic and start reading.
5.You didnt give your device to anyone as they are breakable and costlier, whereas in print book you can easily ready to share it with someone.
6.A economically backward class student may easily buy used print book and learn them.
7.Print book does not locked with password just open and learn.

I think that text written on paper is like vinyl. Some people will swear by it, but for convenience reasons, most of the time text will be read in a digital format.
From my perspective, e-books are better than paper books.
In this information technology age, e-books has developed significantly due to its amazing convenience. Specifically, Just by using a smartphone or a tablet, people are able to access tons of e-books with an ease, instead of bringing some books along. It's super useful and comfortable for those hesitating to open a paper book to read while books seem to be quite heavy and inconvenient.
However, some people find it hard to concentrate on reading e-books compared to paper books because they tend to do some stuff like checking their news feeds on social media such as Facebook and Instagram. In the case reading a paper book, they keep their phones away so it may be easier for them to focus on what they are reading on the books.
To sum up, although there are several potential drawbacks, I strongly believe that e-books are playing a greater role in reality than paper books are.
The treasures contained in the book are very priceless. Be a reader, and groom the hidden treasure.

Paperbooks are better because it won't damage your eyes reading even if you repeat reading it all over again. And paperbooks can be read even if you don't have an internet connection unlike e-books.
I prefer the books that I can touch
Ebook are better because you have many books in one
It makes no difference to me. If anything, the e-book is more convenient, being a lot smaller and holding more books.
