@istemmithard, I run a weekly contest (together with World of Photography) and every week its a fun subject, something very unusual. There is 5 Steem to be won every week. Oh cool so it's a weekly contest but each week the theme and hashtag changes cool I just added it. Is there a particular day that you always start it off or should I Just leave it as weekly like I did above? Also I see in the Rules section "please upvote and resteem" is the resteeming part required to enter? I don't mind mandatory upvote contests but try to avoid the required resteem contests
no not at all, in fact I never check, its just a suggestion to get the contest a little more widely spread. But neither the upvote or resteem is mandatory. Thanks so much for adding it and yes just leave it as weekly thats fine! very grateful thank you!
oh awesome will definitely be entering and just a tip to maybe add the word optional after resteem or reword to make more clear that should also help to get some more entries because I notice contest that require others to resteem usually get less entries. So some may be a little confused with the wording and decide not to enter. Either way your welcome.
