I haven't been a member for very long and have no votes showing up. I re steemed you anyways. Am looking at witnesses and what they are doing for steem. So for is a lot to look at and wondered if there is a one stop information source for all witnesses.
P.S for some reason I can't up vote your post. Sorry.
Thanks, no problem. You can view the data for witnesses here. Next to each witness there is a link that takes you to their witness application post that is their own description of themselves in the role of a witness. You can also see how up to date their price feed is, how many blocks they have missed and other relevant info.
Thanks so much for your quick reply. A suggestion for you and steam-ocean. Instead of just showing how up vetoing in a particular way helps, show also how commenting and up voting comments helps the post and the voter commenters. From what I can tell comments help reputation and curation. Just a thought.
P.S That source for witnesses is awesome thanks!
You are welcome. It is possible to calculate stats that show how often a user comments on their own posts and how quickly they reply etc.
The vote logs that appear on steem ocean currently do include votes made on comments as well as on posts.
I'll bare that general area in mind, yes.
Personally I will always try to reply to comments on my post and up vote those comments. One of the problems I notice is that people are not aware that comments count as a post, but take less time then creating a blog. Don't know what it means for steemians though. LOL
