Drugged? May be, may be. Without pain it becomes even more thrilling because it gives the victim time to think and to feel the surrealism of the situation. He is a pretty weird psycho. May be she will be killed and eaten or may be he was just frightening her and she will woke up at her bed unharmed next morning. Or it can be just a nightmare inspired by some psychological conflicts. We will never know)
