for a while now and I've had enough of it! How about entering into 2017 with a more provocative/witty/powerful headline for the front page of Steemit? Since I am not omniscient and kind of ran out of inspiration, I decided to start a contest to use the wisdom of the crowd in order to crowd source headlines.
I am looking for a headline that:
- Stake a Claim
- Is Cheeky /Witty
- Is Provocative
- Is True
RULES OF THE CONTEST
- One entry per comment (Make as many comment as you want...but only 1 headline per comment)
- The winner will be the top voted comment

I feel like it needs to make the point that "value" is literal in this sense. People value everything these days, so saying your voice has value could be subjective. I really feel like it needs to make the point that people can actually be paid monetarily.

What I like about your suggestions Renaud is that you don't try to explain everything about steemit, and how it works in one slogan.
After all, most successful slogans were always a little abstract, from Apple's "Think Different" to Nike's "Just do it".
"Finger licking good" is a great slogan, no need to tell people there is chicken in it.

I agree with your opinion on the headline though, it should be changed to something more catchy, I mean most people who are accustomed to social media have no idea what a blockchain is, and it would confuse a lot of people.
This is my personal opinion of course, but hey. I mean at least I have a voice here.

I wouldn't use words "earn" or "reward" because only less than 1% of all users will be able to earn any anything besides cents, everyone else will be discouraged and may leave after this promise is not met.

Steemit: the very very very proud home of the longest headlines in the universe. No really guys theyre super super long. And also, theyre on the blockchain, so theyre completely resistant to censorship. Oh and btw our offices are in virginia.
