Where do you see the Steemit platform in 5 years? And why?

In 5 years I see Steemit being held in the same regard as any other social media with one major difference it will be a one stop shop. Whether you are a vlogger, blogger, photographer, poet, or just wish to instant message this is a place to earn rewards for your activity. With all the various dapps being built on top of the Steem blockchain it’s very well possible that the Steemit we know today may become obsolete not being able to interface with so many various options, already we see SteemConnect opening the door to protocols such as SBD-Steem conversion which is limited by the actual Steemit Inc internal exchange. Once the understanding of how the fractional banking system works is main stream and unacceptable to the masses we should see a shift in where individuals make investments and since the internet is a center point for communication platforms like Steemit with its seemingly license to print money people will flock to all available options.
Why? Because it incorporates communication and self expression with the ability to earn rewards for said activities which are the root of discovering self worth.

No not at all, are animals thoughtless? My dog has a major personality which he expresses his desires often which would imply thought but without a formal spoken language he has to resort to body language and actions. It is just much easier to communicate your thoughts through the context of language as without it you would be required to use telepathy and tell a story through images and feelings.

I personally doubt there will ever be a public voyage to the moon, if your apart of the government or space travel corporations such as SpaceX it’s possible but because of Steem itself I don’t think so. It all has to do with training and all that astronauts go through to be able to make the voyage into “outer space”.
As it is NASA says they lost the technology that previously made the voyage possible and currently we cannot pass through the radiation belts so I’m of the mindset it was the biggest hoax ever done just to be able to say the USA one upped the Russians.

I love the idea, I would like to see “private messaging” incorporated as currently it seems to post the message on a post which is also cool. I personally am waiting for the iOS update so I may test it more indepthly. As long as your messaging people whom wish to communicate with you understanding that it is still public then I wouldn’t worry about spamming even slightly, this is a social network. I would try make certain you messages are in-depth and thoughtful just for the sake of avoiding possible flags by people whom may be in the mindset of flagging spam.

Now I don’t like giving financial advise as I am not a financial advisor but I will answer the question. I personally see precious metals of fairly safe investment overall.

I would be assuming it’s an investment for the long run but looking at current prices it seems we’re at the historical lows. That tells me it’s a good time to invest at least relative to the historical data. The downside risk/reward potential is stated to be very low and with a all time high adjusted for inflation you would see potentially $150 making it one of the best investment options on the planet.
Now looking for where the investment comes from for silver I found this page.

States that silver is considered the indispensable metal by Washington-based industry group the Silver Institute relative to its investment in industry. Which half of annual demand comes from industry use cases and with older industries using silver dieing off and new technological ones take place I speculate a much lower possibility of downside compared to gold with only a stated 10-15% industry use and a much higher possibility of upside with further demand for investment purposes during the next bullrun.

So with the coins you can make gains while silver climbs exchangeable by weight but if it tanks the coins will still remain spendable at $1?

If you buy pre 1965 dimes, quarters, or halves they can be picked up for around $11 per dollar face. Silver dollars, pre 1935, can be had for about $16 each in average condition.

Well I started the same as all of you at 25 rep and 15SP and through continuous posting and interaction I have grown my account.
I do however make small investments when I can purchasing Steem with my mining rewards which has helped through using services for boosting such as @minnowbooster or @smartsteem.
As for me being a whale, I don’t consider myself a whale as of yet. My personal power is only in the 1,800 range meaning I am just a little over being a full fledged minnow but through my delegation from @nathanmars I have been empowered upto my current SP value for my efforts on inspiring blockchain interactions with my @DTube posts and creating a support community #OneLoveDTube to help others along the way.

IMO it’s a statement of fact that when faced with an obstacle we have only two choices. Stay where we are at and remain curious of the other side or cross the obstacle taking on the risks associated for the general benefit of what may lay ahead of us for making it to the other side alive.

Will crypto currency take over the world and how will it be implemented

This is a deep question relating to the battle against fractional reserve banking and the right for the people to be in control of their money.
I can see the day where financial institutions will either need to embrace crypto and give the right of printing money back to the people rather then holding that power within a private corporation aimed at only increasing its own wealth or they very well may collapse. With that collapse will come a destruction of society as we know it and possibly also be the downfall of crypto in the process.
So in short take over the world, no. Gaining mass adoption and support from the standing financial systems, yes, which crypto being essentially deflationary(except Steem) it should outpace all standing physical money systems as they are inflationary. The day we see financial institutions scooping up as much crypto as they can through things such as allowing payment of tax’s with crypto it will quickly become the dominant form of money.

Had Kaiser Wilhelm II not dismissed Bismarck, how might European History have been different? Would things still have eventually exploded into a world war, or would the Iron Chancellor have been able to further secure Germany's position making them virtually untouchable, or...? Your opinion?

That is an almost impossible question to answer, but I’ll give it a shot. As Professor Clark in his book “The Sleepwalkers” has pointed out, there was no reason why any country would want to encircle Germany and isolate her by forming coalitions against her. Rather, it was Germany herself which, through a misguided idea of economic and military strength and, consequently, independence, allowed herself to become isolated, and later to antagonise friendly states (Britain, Italy, Japan) and former allies (Russia) until, fatefully, she found herself alone, with just the powder keg that was Austria-Hungary as a comrade-in-arms.
Firstly, the Iron Chancellor would not have allowed the Russian-German treaty to expire in 1890, which pushed Russia in the direction of France.
Secondly, Bismarck would probably have kept Admiral Tirpitz firmly in check, whose influence on Wilhelm II fueled the arms race with Britain which ultimately led to the Entente Cordiale between that country and its erstwhile arch-enemy, France.
Thirdly, Bismarck would not have allowed Wilhelm to become the maverick in foreign affairs that damaged Germany’s reputation abroad. Germany would increasingly be seen as the mirror image of Wilhelm: an arrogant, childishly selfish, pouting, loud-mouthed and sabre rattling, peacocky upstart, who formed an opinion first and then would refuse to change his mind after being confronted with the facts (a proto-Donald Trump as it were), rather than as the cradle and guiding light of European culture, and a useful ally in Europe’s power balance. But for this, even relations between Germany and France would over time have more or less normalised.
Of course, we must bear in mind that Bismarck before March 1890, when Wilhelm let him go, had already shown increasing uninterest in state affairs, ill-health and ever stronger political opposition making him stay for extended periods at home on his estate, and he died in 1898. But perhaps an extra few years of even a weakened Bismarck would have just made enough difference. It may also have led to other, stronger successors than the benign but weak Caprivi (who followed in Bismarck’s footsteps malgré lui) or the sycophantic opportunist Bülow who could not or would not keep a firm grip on Wilhelm. It would not, of course, have prevented the assassination of Franz Ferdinand, but a different set of alliances might have kept Austria-Hungary’s aggressive stance against Serbia in check and prevented the nefarious domino effect that made the lights go out all over Europe in 1914 (to paraphrase Edward Grey, the British Foreign Secretary).
So in short no I don’t think the war would have happened to such a severe degree had Bismarck stayed on. They would have most likely had a stronger position in foreign affairs which states to me they would have also remained in the power position. I am by far no history major yet it seems as if the dismissal of Bismarck was central to the down fall of Germany causing many overlapping situations leading to the explosion of war. As for untouchable I wouldn’t go that far yet with maintaining the ties with Russia they would have been a force to recon with.

I would say it all depends on the outcome of SMT and how users handle their new tokens, hold will increase value of Steem or exchange for fiat will drop value like what happened with ETH.

Do you think Trump will be impeached, impeached and removed, end office by other means, or serve out his term without being impeached?
I doubt trump will be impeached, I imagine he has information with his family ties above most others heads. If those against him had anything over him it would have surfaced by now and most likely before he took office. As it sits he says some pretty brazen things but as for his actual impact he is improving the economy and that should be celebrated. I would even speculate that he may win another term, who will run against him and not have to resort to his standard of political debate? It would be an interesting showdown to say the least and trump has proven to know how to manipulate the media to gain mass coverage and viewership which relates largely to final result.

What will you do If you run out of money?
Worst case scenario the financial institution collapses and money has no value I will resort to work trading, I have many skills including being a baker and everyone will still require food thus I will work possibly on a farm for my own needs while providing my culinary art skills to help others survive also.
