I think I might have joined the Steem Private community the day before this post was made. I wanted to wait a few days before actually commenting on this post to see how the community was so that I could assess it at give some feedback from what I have experienced so far.
I think the future of Steem can be pretty big, since it is the fundamental token for the Steemit platform. The only downside I see with Steem and the Steemit platform in general has of people that come here that are just trying to scam people and not really offering the community anything.
As far as the Steem Private community, I have seen a lack of engagement with the members of our community. It seems like the same people are the ones having conversations with each other, then someone pops in for a few seconds, drops their link and then vanishes. I am hoping that we can get some members that are serious about becoming an actual community instead of a place where they can get access to people's votes via a curation trail or where they can pop in a chat, throw their link in our face and then leave without even talking to anyone. This part will take involvement from everyone in the community. The admins that we have cannot be the ones to change your behavior. We must all do what we can to make the Steem Private community something we are proud to be a part of, because we are limited to putting only 5 tags on our posts and when we use the #steemprivate tag, that takes up one of them. We may as well make it a tag worth using.
