Prizes for Driving Traffic to Hive
Eyes on Hive is an initiative to encourage the driving of web traffic to Hive platforms. Skip down to the rules section below if you wish to participate. Read the introduction post for the rationale behind the contest.
There is no new contest today. This post is just to award prizes. The account has run out of money. I will however make a proposal soon to try and get funding from the DHF, and potentially run the contest for a little while with larger prizes if it gets support.

Why not smaller prizes for more people? I think if there was say five places, it might get more action. People tend to come back once they've gotten money 😂

That's certainly something to consider. A bigger prize might motivate users with a bigger potential audience, and less work in administration, but smaller prizes could get a larger pool of regulars actively competing.
Maybe a balance is in order? Make the first prize something worthwhile for the big names. Say five HBD minimum? The rest of the day's pot could either be like second, third, etc, or split equally amongst the top entries?
