Well done, it is not as easy as it seems!
It was the last character or so, that was really difficult. I had 1112 for ages and struggled to find out how to change things without changing things!
Week 1 is over - The contest post for Week 2 of the 1111 Writing Contest is HERE and winners for week 1 are announced there.

It does takes some effort doesn't it, to exactly get on the 111 :)
Yes! It's ok if you were three or four over, because you can always delete a word, or find a substitute. I seemed to be one over for ages. Took me a while to decide how to get it just right! :)
Took me some puzzling, but finally got it... great challenge :)

Hahaha gotcha @felt.buzz! No please do... I just got a telling off for doing this on someone elses post (understandably I guess but, It was pretty innocent) -
Anyway... let it be known ANYONE CAN POST ABOUT THEIR OWN CONTESTS HERE and this here is a prime example of how to do it (during a genuine interaction). It doesn't bother me... as long as it's not mindless spam over and over then I am happy for anyone to promote their own contests and ideas to other participants in my contest :)
So thanks for checking @felt.buzz but no need to check if the coast is clear :)

aaahahahaha.... wow... this was like the best first entry that I could have hoped for EVER.
Thank you SOOOOO much @felt.buzz for supporting me, my work and now this contest... I promise you the best is yet to come.
This is a really cool entry. I can definitely feel the 'mind-spill' element to it... I wanted to read the whole thing and the unexpected 'twist' at the end really made me laugh haha.
It also hit home and struck a chord... because I feel some of the local Mayan culture must feel like that about us coming here to Lake Atitlan... however they also create a lot of the rubbish themselves and we are doing our bit to clean it... but still I think that perception exists among the locals!
That's why we gotta try and help clean up while we are here!
