She is a pet. I milked her for about 3 months the first time she calved, but I made a friend who sells me raw milk for less than I can justify milking my own cow! Her calves get her milk, I buy her hay. We joke that the few gallons of milk we actually used from her must come in about $2,000 a gallon. We will try to sell her calf this year, but we wanted to keep the first two, and that is where we are now. Sell a couple calves, it will help balance the books on her!

We have a cat we call him "The Million Dollar Cat"Lol! Hes very lazy and has our female cat do all the work such as catching mice at my boyfriends in the country , yet we have taken him to the vetrinarian for various reasons over the years costing over a thousand dollars !!!
