Recently, I embarked on a road trip to see my girlfriend, having been away for 6 months. It was the first time I drove all the way, because I needed to have the car for mobility, since hers was up for repairs.
From the word go, I just couldn't help the excitement and it was embalmed all over my face. Even when I hit a bad pothole, and my back tyre burst beyond repair, I said a short prayer thanking God for life, then I gently replaced with the spare; all these while it rained cats and dogs.
Eventually got the safe, and picked her up, continuing our trip to a Obudu Cattle Ranch. It was great seeing nature again, and I appreciated the serenity of the environment. We had fun, climbed a mountain, ate fresh food, drank cows milk that's unmodified, and did so many things that couples do for fun.
Although it lasted for only 4 days, the day I headed back, she dropped a message saying she'll treasure every minute of the trip. I never realized how much love meant until that trip, and I intend to take her out to a different country on our next vacation; even if it's still in Africa.
I love vacations, and vacations love me.
