I know you must have heard these two words countless times that it has become almost routine. You might have lost its true meaning to its everyday usage as a ‘’courtesy word’’ that society taught. For me, this is more than just a generic phrase, it’s a phrase from the depth of my heart that conveys gratitude and appreciation…
My Adukie baby, Your strength and resilience never cease to amaze me… I say thank you… I knew you were amazing from the moment I set my eyes on you under that tree at love garden. I tried to fight it, but it was futile as love proved to be stronger.
Thank you for not giving up on us… Thank you for choosing to go the journey with me … Thank you for putting up with my many flaws (how do you do that?!)
Thank you for being more than a partner… You have chosen to be my wife, sister, friend, colleague, counsellor, gossip partner, adviser…..and most especially, the mother of my child!
