Thanks for the mention, @zero-infinity! Yep, I'm the person behind the Steemit Tarot curtain, and while I didn't create the original Tarot Tuesday tag on Twitter (still haven't figured out who did that), I've done it on my WordPress blog for years, and brought it over to Steemit in December.

I uploaded an album version of "Morning Light" it also re-includes a link to the open-mic version :) It was my first entry and I am thrilled to have won the contest but took the chance to reupload the album version which is slightly different. I also made the drawing of the cover (it's without the dsound logo in the open mic entry linked inside) Also something wonderful happened, another user (bare starting to get feedback felt inspired to "draw" my song, so it features his artworks too)

Thank you, it is a very old lullaby, I have drafts of it since early nineties when I was a early teenager with sleep disorders, it has had many shapes, but the chords are very simple, so there are many songs that sound a bit similar precisely because of its simplicity in the progression. For me it reminds me to when Bowie sings "major tom to ground control" but that's the simple chord progression. (as an adult at least I find it similar) Still the core of it remained always faith to what it was at the beginning. the version here is the one of 2011 featured in my second album, and that was the first time it featured a cello and a longer structure. :)
No worries, I take it as a compliment, and the chord cadence at points it´s similar, I can sort of see it myself and it's a beautiful song, :), it´s a rather old one though :). I listen to the same cadence in that bowie song and he made it in the seventies XD so I guess we all convergence sometimes on moods even if by chance.
I was confused on what the intention of the spell was until the end. Overall I enjoyed how you put it together, i'm not sure if this is artwork music fiction or poetry though.
Dang it! And at the same time, thanks for the perspective - I wrote the post, assuming my audience would immediately know what the Freezer Spell is. I'm going to tweak it in the morning (just about pumpkin time here), so it's a bit more clear. I also appreciate you taking a look at it, even if it doesn't fit the parameters of the curation (I was hoping this would fit into the, "etc" section of (music, art, fiction, poetry, etc) - LOL!
