The unfaithful wife
John, a famous writer of several romantic novels started to have a very frustrating suspicion recently: he could not get rid of the annoying thought that his wife is seeing another man, but had no evidence so far. Anyhow, this suspicion was making him mad.
One afternoon when he was working on a new novel, his wife came up to him saying that she goes out for a few hours, because she’d like to see a new film in the cinema. John kept watching her lovingly as she walked towards the door, but then returned to his work with a sigh.
Three hours later his wife arrived home, took off her coat and entered the study to ask John if he wanted a cup of coffee. John was exhausted enough to deserve a good espresso, so his wife turned and went into the kitchen to prepare it. After she returned with the two cups, John asked her to sit down and told her he wanted to divorce.
Why, can you explain it?
It was when his wife turned and went into the kitchen to prepare the coffee that John realized his suspicions were correct. For the two images of seeing her walk away was enough to tell she had taken off her clothes and cheated on him.
Nice try, thanks for participating!
This time this was not the winning solution, but don't give up and come back some other time if you liked it! :-)
Thanks for post i enjoy it
Thanks! :-)
Nop i follow you
I have some guesses:
EDIT:
Since he was looking her walking to the door, it might also be something noticeable only from behind (hair?, hook closure of the bra?, socks? )
Don't make guesses please, give me one answer that you find most suitable. :-)
Ok, when she came back she had her shirt inside out and he remembers that when she walked to the door she hadn't
Yes, something similar that I had in mind, eg. her tights were turned around. But I accept this solution, you are the winner. Congratulations!
Reward is on the way... :-)
Isn't that pretty much what I said? The image of her walking away to leave was different than the image of her walking to prepare coffee?
Yes, it was really similar, but it was not specific enough. Anyways I decided to announce @ciarmolimarco as the winner, because in the very first reply he posted yesterday he also mentioned the good solution. (Among several others that made it a little bit messy, so I asked for clarification...)
Received! Thank you :)
You are very welcome, come back next time... :-)
