Let me just say, everyone lies at some point. If they're not lying to themselves, they're lying to others. Either way its all lies.
I liked what you did with this and I agree with you...to some extent. Lying is an habit cultivated from childhood. Most times parents force their children into lying to themselves by making them succumb to a lifestyle or religion that may not necessarily be what the kids want. However, as true as this is, it is also a necessary lie. If every parent were to let their kids fly without being directed, we would all end up with broken wings. Making the kids lie to themselves to fit in a better society is somewhat required of every parent. I think it only becomes wrong when the parent is making the child lie for his/her own benefit alone.
