How Do You Want Your Barbecue?
This week will be all about BBQ. Share in the comments how you want your BBQ. Now this does not have to be pork or chicken. You can suggest seafoods, sausages, beef, veggies and anything edible that's grilled. We are open to everyone even vegans and vegetarians. Again, anything grilled like a BBQ will do. You can have pictures but that's not necessary. Just describe how you want BBQs or grilled foodies should be.
Example:
Me, I love grilled pork belly. I want it simply done, just season the pork belly with salt and pepper and put crushed cloves of garlic. Mix them well with rosemary. Leave it for awhile in normal room temperature for 30 mins to an hour, like you are marinating it. Then simply grill it on a regular charcoal grill. Remove any of the ingredients and I will shout at you like a mad kid. Too bad I don't have a picture but yes, this is how @mermaidvampire wants her BBQ!
Prize scheme will be the same as last week. It will be 50% of the SBD payout goes to the Winner and 50% of the rest goes to everyone who joined. Basically this contest is like a faucet or a splitter, everyone gets to take something. Again, NO LOSERS!
So, that's it! Don't forget to make your posts funny and entertaining because that's how I want them. The funniest and most entertaining comment for me, wins! Down below are the rules, so it's all clear.
Task:
Share how you want your BBQ. What is your favorite BBQ like? English comments only. Leave as many comments as you like all through the week. You may include a picture you took of your BBQ but it's not really required.
Prize:
50% of the SBD payout of this post goes to the Grand Winner. The other 50% will be shared by everyone who joins. NO ONE LOSES!
You are not required to make a post, in fact, you are not required to do anything than comment but helping upvote and promote this post will amp the reward pool and will make this even more rewarding for everyone who will join. Please join in the fun!

2- ginger, again, generious amount,
3-salt, to taste
4-lemon - some even prefer to leave the peels in, adds to the taste.
5-chillie peppers - generous amount.

damn, now i am salivating. literally.
The secret on the recipe of MY own SUPER Liempo BBQ is fresh calamansi and sugar. (it's not a secret anymore....) I usually prefer to buy Pork Belly in groceries or supermarkets since they cut my Liempo individually thru a machine. Having a not too thick slices of pork belly, I washed it vigorously with running water then drained. After I put bbq marinade on it, add a portion of salt, pepper, and crushed garlic. To make it more delicious, I put calamansi and sugar on it. To add flavor, a dash of liquid seasoning and worcestershire sauce. After just a few minutes, I have it grilled by using charcoal. After a while, this is how it looks deliciously like:
Apir!!! I think I will love this and I think I know exactly what liquid seasoning you are referring to. Hahahaha! Thanks for joining, @dan16. Next time, try adding rosemary. I really love this with rosemary.
Barbecue is best when my mother does the mixing of the sauce, like from marinating till the grilling time and I love the isaw, chicken leg and the chicken liver and of course it is best serve when hot and enjoyed with family and friends. I use to do it actually with my family, we use to have a barbq party for some occasions, its fun really and barbq this time always taste the best.
It's simple I love grilled beef it should be seasoned with thyme and curry and vegetable oil sprayed lightly on it, the fire wouldn't be too hot so as not to burn the beef, it should be turned side by side by a space of one minute.
I don't have a picture as well.
I love preparing barbecue by just roasting it first on a flat pan under the super low flame. Without any marinade dressing. Just plain salt and pepper. Then prepare the best sawsawan ever of vinegar made from kaong. Sinamak or paombong. With crushed native garlic ( is a must ) then diced onions. Pepper, chili, salt, MSG in small amounts. Plus crushed native onions that mix in the vinegar solution itself. No achuete please!
I would love eating barbecue while it's hot then immersed in the vinegar solution I prepared for a few minutes.
This way, the juicy and succulent yummy flavor of the pork is not affected by the powerful flavor of the marinade dressing once you'll take a bite. Thanks for this post as it blasts my salivary glands again.
I would like a mixed barbecue, for example a chicken milanesa, a fillet of 1 kilo of pork, and also 2 kilos of meat for parrila, and to flavor it, I do the following:
I add salt, soy sauce and enough garlic, and I marinate it from one day to the next, while I make a sauce that I will make after it is cooked, a spicy guacamole.
Also, pick onions half and also put them on the grill when roasting everything, and when I go to assar the meat, I add mustard to the pork and chicken, and mayonnaise to the beef, and there you have a barbecue Excellent. and of course never miss the pepper :)
Squid or pusit is my kind of bbq, stuffed with parsley and dill, sprinkled with powdered lemon and garlic with salt, no need to marinate just let it dry in a low cool temperature, prepare for a ready made hickory and thyme bbq sauce in a low fire and bingo!
Interesting. Pumuputok ang squid eh pag bina bbq lalo na mata nila. Hahahaha! Sadly. I am allergic to them pero sarap siguro nila kasi walang buto. Hahaha! Thanks for joining!
Kpag putok na that's it, masarap na yan, kya dapat may laman xa.
I like BBQ which was made by chicken 🍗 and also must be homemade by my mother. My mother is enough expart of making Barbecue with tomato sauce. Sometimes we friends are fond of making BBQ which was arranged by us all.
We can't afford barbecues any more in Venezuela, but when we could, we put just about anything on the grill.
We traditionally combine pork, beef, chicken and sausages (spicy pork, blood sausage, etc).
We put salt, english, soy and garlic sauce on the meats. spice them with oregano and cook them well done. We apply some ketchup. We eat it with salads and boiled cassava and taro (malanga).
We can also add some sea food and call it parrilla mar y tierra (sea and land BBQ) and add some avocado as side dish.

I prefer pork bbq, marinated for the whole night. Then mix with soja soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, lemon, sugar, black pepper, garlic powder, ketchup, red chili and dried thyme herbs. Grilled in the charcoal while applying the mix marinated sauce into the pork. Accompanied by corn, bell pepper, and pineapple. But of course with rice!
I love grilled beef seasoned with salt, chilli pepper, curry powder and onions. I prefer eating it with shredded cabbage.

I like any style in BBQ,
but there's a certain food that I'm now practicing to make a BBQ,
"egg", seriously, I want these stuff to make a BBQ.
The best barbecue that I have tasted came from the menu of my brother. I asked him how he did it and he shared his menu to me. Everytime we do barbecues at home, we follow his recipe which is marinating the meat for the whole night first. By marinating, he means that putting a little bit of everything (soy sauce, lemon, pepper, onions, garlic, salt). It should be properly mixed with the meat. After all of that, put it in the fridge and it's super ready for the day after. Hmm, I was imagining while writing it and gosh I just wanna make some of it now. :)
I like my bbq super damn spicy and messy lol. Lots of garlic, hot sauce, vinegar and I like to eat 'em outdoors. Well, you get the picture.
I just ate a barbecue earlier and I didn't take it a picture. But if I will tell everyone on how I like barbecue, maybe, I would say that I like it so much!
My mother bought this barbecue from an old woman in the market. The woman's name was Vsing. She is a widow and told us that she loves cooking barbecue for his husband when he was still alive.
Aling Vsing's (not based on any Philippine movie) barbecue is the best in the market due to the composition of the sauce and its texture. She picked the best chicken in the market and cleaned it carefully.
I like my barbecue because it is fairly cooked, cleaned properly, and served gracefully.
the juice or the bbq sauce olalam! AHHAHA
I call my BBQ, "AnyHow". Any marinade will do. How it was grilled matters. I like to grill my burger patty. Before grilling, I marinade it with honey and lemon juice. Grilled in wood with vegetables beside the patty to add flavor. BBQ flavored soy sauce applied atop the patty to absob the flavor. After grilling the patty, it wlll be served with quickmelt cheese atop and corn vegie in the same plate.
We call BBQ in tagalog 'BINANGE', some call it "Inihaw". Grilled Banana and Corn are the street foods I like. I like grilled corn because it becomes crispy in the outside and juicy in the inside. Since its a street food it comes with a FREE..... hepatitis.
Me too, I like rilled banana no sugar and butter, I just a plain grilled banana and corn cobs also plain no butter and grilled kasuy...

I like the barbecue with venison, season it and place the pepper that you should not miss, ready to serve it by moking it with guacamole. I would place it in a beautiful dish accompanied by crushed banana, green and fried, a salad of lettuce, carrot, avocado and pieces of fried cheese. My God @mermaidvampire ya gave me hunger hehehe!

How do I prepare my BBQ?
These are the ingredients in the photo.
1.pork belly
2.sprite
3.pepper
4.salt
5.garlic
6.calamansi
7.olive oil
8.apple cider
9.mamasitas bbq sauce
I want my bbq tender and juicy, and to achieve that the secret of it is to be marinated with sprite softdrink in it, (You can also use wine but it's expensive so I prefer sprite). When I want to eat bbq, I have to prepare it ahead of time at least 2-3 days. First, you have to massage the pork with salt. Add pepper, calamansi and garlic then massage thoroughly. Add apple cider vinegar and small amount of olive oil. (The oil will help the meat absorb all the ingredients and aside from that, grilled food like meat may cause cancer because of carcinogen substance if you add oil the meat will not get burn). Then pour sprite and mamasitas bbq sauce and massage the meat again then refrigerate it for 2-3days. Then you can just grill it in medium well to make it juicy.

Me, I love pork BBQ just have to marinate it with spicy sauce and that's it. Love it.
Well the barbecue here is called "parrilla" and there is no better barbecue than one composed of chicken, chorizos, beef, pork and obvtiously its good "guasacaca" sauce made of garlic, parsley and peppers
