RE: 10+ Basic Income Projects & New Giveaway 😁

in #contest7 years ago

I have signed up to GDAX but haven't put any coin into it yet. All my stuff is all over the web in random wallets. I've been spending the last week or so trying to open old wallets and move coins into a safer space or binance or wherever I can them.

I heard of the mysteries of GDAX from a Facebook friend but I haven't figured out how to use it yet. I was planning on youtubing up some toots on it. LOL.

I have no fkin clu what a limit order is lol

Discord is cool. There's like 50+ discord groups for steemit and many have free voting bots. Also, you can link up with people that seem a little out of reach on the main platform. And it has notifications and works with @ginabot. :)

Oh ok cool! Since Coinbase and GDAX are the same company it's really pretty easy switching between the two. Yeah, you definitely have to be careful. A paper wallet is really the safest place to store anything. A hardware wallet the next, but it's not 100% safe. I could show you how to trade on GDAX in like 5 minutes. It's really simple. Discord sounds pretty cool. I might have to try that out. I use fb mostly. But, I'm spending more time on here now. I like my friends and stuff there, but zucker doesn't pay me shit and steals my info. Lol

Same here. I'm on FB but not as much now. And I'm going to try some of these other social networks on the blockchain (and cash them out into steem.) If you ever have time, a great post would be how to trade on GDAX. But I'd love to learn how to so I can put more coin there.

I also want to learn how to ERC20 tokens. I don't know how lol. But I found a lot that look cool. I missed so many free coin airdrops :(

That sounds like a good idea. You never know what may be a better opportunity. My friend at the Antimedia recommends Minds. What others are you looking at?

Thank you for that idea! I may try that. Do you use Binance much or any others?

You want to learn how to use them? Myetherwallet is my preferred place to make paperwallets.

Yes, Binance. Haven't really been into trading crypto much. I originally just bought a bunch of BTC back when it was young, and held it forever in coinbase and cashed out. I had some altcoins back in the days like potcoin, doge, reddcoin, litecoin, dash, bla bla.. but then didn't do anything. So everything is sort of new to me. I sort of get it, but I am still new. Like the paperwallets, I get that. Thats what we did years ago. That's easy. But there was less than 100 coins in existence. Now there's thousands and things have become complex with people scamming, the government involved, taxes, hahahaha.. it sounds like the stock market now.

I see. I try to keep things simple. I believe the vision of Satoshi to be a decentralized peer to peer cash. I don't like any interference or regulation at all. The whole point of what Satoshi created was to get away from that. He created it as a result of the government bailing the banks out after they screwed everybody and caused the recession. The Genesis block, block 0, of Bitcoin actually has a headline of a newspaper embedded in it as a message. It's a headline about the British Chancellor considering a second bank bailout. It was a headline on the day Bitcoin was created.

Wow that's interesting. I too like the idea of decentralization and peer to peer transactions. Of course, the government doesn't like competition. Makes me want to move out of the country but everywhere has that going on. Complimentary currencies are really nice too. If they're small in a small community, usually the big boys don't notice or care.

Exactly! I know people that have moved down to Alcapulco. It would be nice to have a second place to live abroad. I think this really will change the world. Pandora's box has been opened

One of the airdrops a friend of mine started required a meta address.

That's cool. It's ok for some things. Like a hot wallet is. But, I wouldn't keep a large amount in one with a possible security breach. If it is a lot, I would move it to a wallet that has no connection to the internet.

So YOUR FRIEND started an airdrop!? I'm curious
