I love the idea of being a world traveller, but alas the money and opportunity to do so alludes me. There are so many places and cultures I want to see and experience, Europe to South America, to my northern neighbor Canada. I've also dreamed of going to Australia since I was a little girl. However if I had the opportunity to choose a place to travel to right now all expenses paid, it would have to be the various islands of Japan.
I have always found Japanese culture fascinating. I love the art and style of Japan and find the folklore interesting.
I love the architecture and the serene beauty of Japan. I hope to visit there at least once in my lifetime.

Every Island has its own individual beauty and local culture. Travel shows on PBS to the different islands and reading of @honeysim experiences living and teaching there have only made me want to go more.
