Photophile Photography Contest: Sunset Saturday III and Winner Announcement

Welcome to PHOTOPHILE PHOTO CONTEST series! The recently concluded contest is TRAVEL THURSDAY. We are pleased to announce the winners below.

Our main winner is @paulajogalix who shared

This is Kuang Si Falls in Luang Prabang, Laos which is arguably the best spot in Laos with its turquoise blue waterfall layers! These lead to the main fall with a drop of 60 meters (200 ft).
I went there last Oct 2019 for my first ever solo backpacking trip.
I loved and am proud of that trip as I got to get out of my comfort zone and did the things I never imagined I can do alone.

Our runner-up is @jemzem who shared

We chose Samboan as our last travel destination because that was part of our travel goals before. We also heard that there are several waterfalls in Samboan, and as a fan of waterfalls, I was excited to visit the place.

A big congratulations to @paulajogalix and @jemzem. They will be beneficiaries of the rewards of this post for winning the TRAVEL THURSDAY contest.

        IMAGE: SUNSET
        DESRIPTION: This picture was taken in the middle of Misibis Bay in Legaspi, Albay in Bicol, Region. We enjoyed the view of the sunset and the silhouette image of Mayon Volcano with clouds partly covering it. You can see the tip of Mt. Mayon above the clouds. The boat was a bit shaky because the waves are getting bigger. I was fortunate to capture it.
