The PokeSTEEM Battle League wishes to encourage more Pokemon related content on the steemit.com platform. We have begun the creation of a new Weekly Community Post Challenge to see who the true STEEMIT Pokemon Master's are. Users will have 1 week to create Pokemon related post that matches the Community Theme of the Week.
This week's theme is
"Starter Pokemon"
Starter Pokemon are a staple to the Pokemon Universe and the beginnings of everyone's Pokemon Adventure. Depending on when you became a fan of the series your starter Pokemon might be different then someone else's. Each region has three starter Pokemon with each trio featuring either a typing of fire, water, or grass respectively.
In the past some Pokemon spinoff games have had their main character's begin with different starter Pokemon(Pokemon Yellow had you start with Pikachu, Pokemon Collesium and Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness had Eeveelutions and Eevee respectively.)
This challenge will only include one of the Trio you receive from the following places.
- Kanto has Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle
- Johto has Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile
- Hoenn has Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip
- Sinnoh has Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup
- Unova has Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott
- Kalos has Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie
- Alola has Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio
We challenge the STEEMIT Community to Create anything related to the starter Pokemon and their evolutions.
- Write a blog about which Pokemon Game you started with, what Pokemon you chose and/or why?
- Post a funny picture you drew or created on a computer.
- Create a video about why this starter evolution line is your favorite/ or a Top Ten with your favorite choices.
Judges will chose their favorite post the following week and the Winner will receive 2 SBD Courtesy of @boycharlieplays.
Don't forget about our current Week 9 UU Tournament you can win Weekly Rewards by battling users in our discord chat.
All players and content creators are welcome to make posts about their battles and take part in spreading the word of the PokeSTEEM community by using the hashtags #pokesteem #pokesteembattleleague or the current weeks hashtag example #week9pokesteem. Spreading the word of the community helps bring more rewards to the pool and will hopefully encourage the Pokemon community to want to use this platform.
