jaja wow you surprise me with that!
impressively today something happened that I never would have expected, while I was bathing my dogs, suddenly my two bitches began to bark looking in the direction of one of the windows of the house, missed run to that window and when I opened it I saw a huge bird known as Vulture (Cathartidae) was in the window, I had never seen one so close, its size surprised me, but a few seconds later I was surprised by something else, the smell It had! It was like a garbage truck with rotten fish, it went quickly but a second was enough to know that you never want to have it, but the most surprising thing was that you asked me what a strange thing happened today, since usually nothing happens xD ( that was the interesting ) but the best one was a long walking with my wife, doing common things, but I always enjoy doing everything with her that was the best =), and for you What was the best, most interesting, or favorite thing that happened today, if you care to share? xD
Wow that is really unbelievable! A vulture?! I bet I would be shook by its size too! I have read that similar birds can have enormous wingspans up to 7 feet (2.3 meters?) but I still can't imagine that in real life. Being carrion feeders it makes sense that they would stink but It's surprising to hear from actual experience! So did it have a bald head?
The purpose for this adaptation found in different birds (such as condors as well) is to keep the head (relatively) clean and free of residue from their meals
