10 days ago, the Nigerian parish of Steemchurch International Ministries - @Sc-n hosted her first contest/game tagged "COMMENTS ENGAGEMENT CONTEST #1". The contest required contestants to quote their favourite scripture and as well tag a friend to join in the fun by commenting under the comment they are tagged.

It was exciting to have as much as 15 parishioners of @Steemchurch participate in the contest. However, only 11 entries were captured to have followed the contest rules and guidelines.

While the contest had a promise to reward the best three contestants and as well share the remaining rewards as consolation prizes to all successful entries. However, only two entries singled out as first and second best while others only qualified to receive the consolation prizes.

NOW THE RESULTS

We are glad to celebrate @IMALUV54 who emerged FIRST with two comments under her chain. Below is her entry:

Galatians chapter 2:21
[Therefore, I do not treat God’s gracious gift as something of minor importance and defeat its very purpose]; I do not set aside and invalidate and frustrate and nullify the grace (unmerited favor) of God. For if justification (righteousness, acquittal from guilt) comes through [observing the ritual of] the Law, then Christ (the Messiah) died groundlessly and to no purpose and in vain. [His death was then wholly superfluous.]
I feel privileged each time I read this passage. I owe God my life for his sufficient and unmerited grace for me.

KJV:Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (Matt. 7:21)
This is my favorite Bible scripture (verse ) because this verse of the scripture make me to understand that indeed it's not everyone that called Lord Lord will go into the kingdom of heaven but those who is forever ready to do the will of his father.
