I think failure is in the eye of the person that sees it; it's a matter of perspective. I have once worked diligently every day for a couple of years and made zero progress but this sad state of affairs put me in the desperate state of mind that led me to try something new, which led to success. So, failure may simply be about focusing on the hardest part of the story.
