Life is beautiful, life is a mystery, no one knows what the future holds.
I still recollect how Bodé's mother, a widow struggled and toiled to raise Bodé. She virtually paid through her nose to see him through secondary school as the sweet-talking uncles deserted them.
Bode was a good boy, he understood his mother's plight and studied harder. He was respectful, hardworking and never kept bad friends. As expected, Bode graduated as the best student in his class with high hopes and dreams of studying medicine in the university in order to make his poor mother proud but life had other plans for them as four years after secondary school, Bode attempted his fourth JAMB examination, same old story. Even Akin his friend, who could barely make four correct sentences back then in school was already in his finals.
Maybe he should have sorted a few lecturers like some of his classmates had done.
But then, life as we know it has never been fair. That is why the rich keep getting richer and the poor, poorer. Good things happen to bad people and bad things; good people, so the cycle revolves. We should just let life happen!
