Img Src @cryptomomma and I will be reading through posts over the next week (and resteeming/boosting), and our 5 favorites will each receive 20% of this posts payout! If anyone would like to donate to the pot for this contest, it will be split among the 5 winners.

We have talked with @firepower about getting a Steemit.chat room set up for us, but I think he's on vacation at the moment, so that may happen in the near future.

EDIT: We now have a room set up on Steemit.chat!! Look for "steemparents"

We also need a custom logo, if anyone is interested in donating one, we can work out payment in the form of future post payouts, as this account is essentially a non-profit.

I totally agree. I'm going to be writing this next one a bit in advance, and have it ready to go Friday morning. I'm thinking about making a writing contest as a means of finding guest writers to keep the account as active as it needs to be 😃
