@pappa-pepper, shooting for this contest is always fun and relaxing for me, but this week's entry provided me with the most zen moment that I've had in a long, long time. This Gulf Fritillary allowed me to trail it for a good 20 minutes, and I only left because my lunchtime was over. It was a truly awe inspiring experience watching it go about its life, which is weird, because it is just a bug. Sorry for the long-winded comment, but I just wanted to express my gratitude for hosting such an inspiring contest.
Also, I learned that this particular species lays its eggs on passion vines, so I mentioned your recent post in my write-up. I hope that's cool.
