We are still in Quiz #1 so let's clear some things before moving on. You have to offer single answer. You were probably tricked because there are two clues and one is related to namesake city. That is just a helpful tool that can lead (or misslead) you to find correct answer. So you didn't have to write Rome(Georgia,USA), Cordoba (Argentina), Venice (California), Montreal (Quebec) or Edinburgh (Indiana). Only the destination we are looking for. In the future quizzes that might make difference, although I would accept it now, if any was correct.

RULES:
🌐 Each quiz will start with two clues
🌐 Correct answer can be town, city, country, sea, river, bay, mountain, plain, desert, national park etc. anything related to World Atlas
🌐 User must vote, resteem and post 1 answer in comments (editing leads to disqualification).
🌐 Answer has to be in English, grammatically correct and specific if needed (for example "Athens, Greece" or "Athens, Georgia, USA")
🌐 FIRST correct answer is the Winner

Clue #1
This destination, located in Northern hemisphere, has the peak tourist season in the summer months.

Clue #2
This destination has a namesake city which is located in Western hemisphere. Actually the city was named after it.

Clue #3
It's namesake city (which most of you correctly assumed is North American) is quite small (population under 1000).
On the other hand, our correct answer is large - well, at least in regional terms. Speaking of continent, it's not in the top 20 of it's kind.
