Wow!
I would not agree about education and school being boring. It is just that some teachers are very bad or the textbooks are poorly written.
I had some reading material for exams that is so boring you either fall asleep, stare at the ceiling or do something creative like you did in high school. :0

I'm an English teacher so I can relate 100% ... I see some of my fellow teachers giving class as if they are being punished, hating every second of it - and the students pick this up very easily. As educators, if we truly want to educate, we need to engage students imaginations!
That's definitely true, not all education is boring and high school had some cool things for me also that I enjoyed, mostly in the creative side of things, like music and visual arts.
