i think the feature that is missing in this platform is the translation section. steemit is uses by many country and not all the user of steemit is fluent in writing in english thats why they write their blog in their language. we saw many article that we think it is very nice becuase of the upvote and the comment and the photo was so beautiful but some of us did not recognize it because it is not written in the language we prefer. honestly sometimes i used google translate just to find what is the meaning or what is the blog is all about.. so if there is a laguage navigator we can easily read all the blog in the laugauge we prefer.
I never thought of that, but it would be a great feature indeed.
I think the interaction between its users, which allow private messages as they have twitter and instagram

Until now, I think that this platform lacks more international promotion for all countries because it is excellent to know better the world in which we live both people and different tastes, places, occasions and distractions. I would like there to be a way to receive notifications of all the upvotes and visualizations that I am receiving at the moment every time I post something.

Save posts, better search (for example the option to search for posts in a certain tag)
Ah yes, an option to save posts in your personal library or something. Good one :)
Being able to search for several tags like: gaming, science and being able to filter out posts that don't have both tags in it.
Oh and something like reddit gold for posts you absolutely love.
Advanced search options, that shouldn't be too difficult.
I would like to see notifications when new votes/comments are added to my post and for replies to any of my comments.

i wish steemit has a feature where you can send a message directly (like a message button next to the name) to the person without going on to chat or discord channel.
Probably something to stop irrational flagging. I once saw someone get flagged for comenting without upvoting. WTH.

What i would personally love to see improved is the speed at which upvotes are done. sometimes you read a post and fall in love with it. However, you wait and wait, and the upvote button just spins and spins.
Lol yes, I've been annoyed by that as well. And sometimes it doesn't go through without giving any feedback.

I have to echo private messaging. It is clumsy and time consuming to chase people around with a steem transfer memo or on the various chat servers.
Also a framework for an etsy/ebay style marketplace within steemit where goods can be exchanged for steem.

hello hello, my name is Royce, but more sincerely known as roycle. I’m sure it’s been said before, but Steemit could really benefit from both a DM feature as well as a notification when a post of yours gets resteemed.
Uff thats a hard one. Its already so huge that i don't know all the features.
I will give you a long answer about this in the comment you left me in another post to avoid leaving a wall of text here. For now I think anonymous voting and private messages would be really nice things to have.

Overall this site is nice. As far as I can observe, there can be jealousy sometimes between people. As a result they give flag. This system maybe corrected.
In my opinion the text editor could be a little better than it is now...
True, the options are limited and it can be difficult to understand for new users.
I think it would be nice to have a toggle on someones blog that switches between their full feed, and then just that user's posts. Essentially it would toggle on and off their resteems.

I am a systems engineer from Venezuela. I am trying to start a video gaming stream channel. That's it for my introduction.
I believe that we can improve some very cool things on steemit, having a "Seen" post mark that let's you go back to previous already seen posts without too much hassle. The notification feature could really improve, as it is hard to get notified when something has happened without you actually checking the post or comment.

I have so many answers to this, so I'm going to give a few: Notifications. Private messaging. Formalized communities. A way to organize and customize your blog so that you can separate out resteems and original posts, or feature articles that you're particularly proud of. A way to earn residual income on old posts. More formatting options.
Lots of great ideas. Would be interested in using a platform on top of steemit that would offer you these things? I'm thinking (dreaming actually) of creating one :)

I would say the mention notification. It would be helpful when I'm mentioned to a post so I can interact with the author that mentioned me.

I think deleting goes against the blockchain philosophy, editing is already possible though.

i like steemit platform and coin alot i would like to see a notification option where i would know if my blog is upvote downvote or comments or @ simply just a notification like facebook and not to forget an app and if all those things exist i just dont know about it please help me figure it out thanks.

I would like to be able to search through past posts instead of scrolling through the feed to find ones I am curious about reading. Having a search bar for only SteemIt would be nice.

A private means of communication. Although there is dischord and steemitchat for that I guess.
I never understood how steemitchat can be private though, if it's on the blockchain. I should look into it.
I think it is a separate service. Your user name is not necessarily the same as here, so I think it is not in the blockchain.
I agree here, it'd be nice to message someone privately
providing an application probably for mobile users to that it will be easy for the users and also something that can notify the users on whats going on

I think the feature that steemit lacks is an integrated chat where we can talk between users without going to external sites like discord.
Hello, i am @talivet and i am new to this. I think steemit is great but it tends to have problems with opening on chrome. If that can be fixed, i would be grateful. I feel more contests should be held to make for more interaction and growth.
