The oldest tin older than me is the fan I inherited from my father, he acquired it while he was still a bachelor. My dad is 74yrs old now. If am not mistaken, this fan should be around 46yrs of age. Just take a look:
it blows like AC
That's true bro, this fan is one of the things I can hardly forget.... And it really blows like Air conditioner indeed 😂😂😂
Yes oo. It's an attraction on its own
It really looks like trowing fresh vintage air :D
Lolsss😀😀
Thanks @thepassenger for creating such a unique contest. The oldest thing I own is jewellery from my Grandma. She is Indian and died aged 94. She kept the jewellery her whole life and it was given to her by her mother before her. We suspect it's at least a couple of hundred years old. I love having things with such sentimentality and history behind them. I believe you can really feel the energy which passes through them. How about you?
Hi @yasminep :) I'm glad you like the contest, i'm enjoying it very much and you can join it daily if you want to! I also like those old things. I have some really old photos of my family, but the oldest things i own are roman coins which are about 2000 years old and a fossil collection. Those might be more than 100 million years old!! Hope to see you around, followed!
100 million years old!? WOW. Ok you win ;-) Yeah i'll definitely be joking the competition regularly. Would love to hear some really thought provoking or controversial questions.
As weird as this might sound, it's a toothbrush.
Yes a 20 year old toothbrush. Somehow i couldn't bring myself to throwing it away.
wow I never thought about keeping one more than...3 months? xD
This wall clock is roughly 18years old in my house bought around year 2000
Hmmmmmmm it been long oh
Yes ooo bro
Wow this clock is my age mate lol...
Thanks @elow you must be new here?
Yes bro
The oldest thing I have is this HP-11C Calculator year 1981. My father used it in the University and then I used it. It still works perfectly.
The oldest thing i own is a bag given to me by my dad when i was still in secondary school. It is well packed in my room
That's nice :) Keep it well!
I sure will
I had to search my room to find the oldest thing in it. Mine is a 6years old paper folder. Lol. Funny but true.

The oldest thing I own is a camera left by my dad. It's I guess, made in the '70s. I kept it as a relic
That's nice! You should take some pictures with it sometime too!
My high school diary is the oldest thing I own for now. All other things that come to me didn`t stay long but this one (the diary i mean) is still on me up to now. It is a good thing that I started writing my daily activities during my younger years for I can go back to those days just by reading over my old diaries. How about you, @thepassenger? :)
Wow I wish i would have keep something from that time, but my room was too tiny I got no space on it! My oldest possesions are roman coins and fossils which date back 100 million years ago :)
I have an old fridge. I don't even know how old it is
Wow that's awesome. You should paint it again and it will look like brand new!! :D
Oh, unfortunately I'm bad at painting
Umm...that maybe the pen which was given to me by my mom's sister with which she used to write from her child hood. It is made up of iron and almost 40 years old. I also almost ended my highschool with that pen.
Ps it's a ink pen
The oldest thing i own is my stufftoy. Her name is Anne Sharina. My Aunt gave it to me when i was 8 years old. I remember she gave me that as a christmas present. I have her for 20years.
Lovely 😍
she gave me*
That's cool, I think Anne Sharina is a familiar name for me.
Hahahaha.! Tnx for the correction. Sorry my bad.. i skip "S".
Ohww..! Really..? Anne sharina is familiar to you..?? do you have it too.? Hahaha.. or your sister have it?
I dunno, maybe I just heard that name when I'm young. 20 years is long! Keep it up haha
Here is my entry. My old toy car, it's about 35 years and I kept it in my room so that I can always remember this gift that my father gave to me.
Your toy car looks vintage..nice..
I like vintage Car!
I have some toy soldiers in my loft that I played with as a little boy, they were originally my great granddad's and have been passed down through the generations.
Not sure how old they are but over 100 years.
Wow that's amazing! Yesterday I saw on the news a "Madelman" toy from Spain was sold for 10K :O
:O I wonder if there are any in my collection worth something, although because of the family history I am not sure if I would ever sell them.
It's been a while since I actually had a look at them but there were some really old metal ones that looked really cool. There were also a lot of ones which were damaged when my granddad used them as target practice with his air rifle!
The wrist watch of my Grandmother who she gave it to me, actually the watch is older than me thats why I really took good care of it.
That's nice :) One day you can give it to your grandsons and grandaughters
The oldest thing I own, is my soul, but I guess my soul rather owns me :D
One of my artpieces
hehe I'm sure all steemers are old souls ;) thanks for joining, nice paintings you do!
This is not my oldest, because I got some roman coins and fossils which are million years old, but I like it so much. It came after the first episode of the simpsons!
I guess it is some sort of rarity.
I found it in the street in Barcelona, isn't it amazing?
it's really great.
Great contest. Not at home right now so can't take a pic but oldest thing I own is a blue long-sleeve shirt. Used to be my finest Sunday best back in 1998🤦😅 but now, I use it as pajamas. Very comfortable and very high quality and a ton of good memories 😆
Thanks! I also use my old shirts as pijama until they are broken haha never bought a pijama! Thanks for joining!
I have some Bulgarian coins minted in 1892. They should be considered valuable, however there is some supply out there and they are trading at around 5-10 Bulgarian leva (BGN) - this is like 3-5 euros. They have been transferred down the family and I guess my son will get to keep as well.
This hat and I have a story
I have owned this had for over ten years. I don’t remember who gave it to me, but I doubt I purchased it on my own. This hat has traveled internationally, domestically, and locally. I love hats and don’t wear them as often as I used to.
The oldest thing I own is a rosary that my mother gave me. It was the most precious gift I ever received from her. She told me that she bought it 3 years after she got married to my father and gave it to me when I was in grade 6. So, it was like 10 years that it's in my hand now but 33 years in total including the time that my mother still owned it. My mother passed away last 2009 but I really cannot forget this gift because it has a sentimental value for me.
I have a silver coin from the 17th century.
I have my oldest broken wristwatch the brand of it is Casio from Saudi Arabia from my Father. I hid it even though it's already broke, and now I don't even know where is it. Hahaha.
Hahaha your funny.
You kept and hide it and now even you didn't know where to find it. Hahaha..!
Yeah, Most of the time I hide my most valueable things, and soon I will forget about it and it surprise me when I dound it accidentally hahaha.
Hahahaha witty! Nice one
lol that's true! haha. Help me to find it if you want haha!
this is the most favorite picture of my childhood andI have no words to explain my feelings right now there and I love too <3 this picture
This is the oldest ever picture of me when I'm in the army school
