Those who follow me know I run a haiku contest. You can enter now but that's not what I want to talk about in this post!
@liverussian, a good friend, wrote a very nice note about the most recent contest runner-up, and I want to share it with everybody.
In her words:
Today I'm pleased to write a few words about a fellow teacher @mineopoly. For me, he's an entire heart with two legs and two arms, that feels stuff. I'll try to elaborate here!
Who could write about a candy in such a romantic way full of longing:
Candy was her name
I knew her then she was gone
Melted in my mouth
(@mineopoly)
Yep, an entire heart! My congratulations, now you know a little more about him, but that's not all!
And I'm not even talking about all the comments he leaves to the members of the steemit poetry community, it seems that poems go through him and become something new. Reading his perception of steemit poems made me feel the meaning of the words "a poem continues its life in hearts of its readers, it no longer belongs to the author, but to the world."
(I was told something like this one day by a great poet @lazarus-wist.)
My personal opinion is that people like Mineopoly are meant to become teachers for they are like candles - consume themselves to light the way for others (I'm sure I was quoting someone here). Lighting the way of others means to make their way more pleasant and less filled with obstacles. Mineopoly's students are the lucky ones, I'm sure they'll live long and happy lives for laughter is a well known tool that extends the life!!!
Humour is his natural ability that makes even serious things like Medibloc sound entertaining. I enjoyed every bit of his witty writes for Comedy Open Mic (one of them is here). I've never thought that hard fork actually looks like this, ahahahaha!
Bravissimo @mineopoly!

I couldn't have said it better myself. Cheers!
