Oops. Sorry about that. Yes my ancestors are some of the oldest white folks in this Country. Not making light of what happened. Actually it bothers me that what you describe is part of my family's legacy.
I was not raised by my biological family, but by foster parents. As a teenager, my foster parents were indigenous peoples, Puerto Rican, the people that Columbus met when he came to America. I am not Native American, but have a great love for them for obvious reasons.
I do wish you all of the best my friend. If it were in my power, I would go back in time and do my best to prevent all of the terrible things that my ancestors perpetrated on the indigenous peoples. Since that is not possible, what I will do is this...

Thank you for explaining, but it does bring up a good subject. No one answers for the sins of their ancestors, it is about what we do. Yes, I have seen the movie and it is very funny, but also deep sometimes.
