EPISODE RECAP
This was a two hour episode with TWO tribal councils. The first half of the episode saw an epic 6 hour battle for immunity between Alec and Christian, with Christian being victorious in the end. With nothing to protect him at tribal council, Alec was unanimously voted out, the entire group recognizing that Alec was a massive physical threat. This result made Alec the fourth member of the jury and cemented the Davids power position as they finally had the numbers up 5 to 4 against the Goliaths.
Part two saw Davie win immunity, but the vote was anything but straightforward. Instead of sticking together as Davids and picking off the Goliaths one by one, old tribal lines blurred - Christian and Gabby joined some of the Goliaths to vote off one of their own. Carl was blindsided, his torch was snuffed, and he became the fifth member of the jury.
Out of the starting 20 players, we're down to the FINAL 8 and again back to even numbers - 4 original Goliaths and 4 original Davids - although there was so much blurring this episode, I'm not sure it matters anymore.
So long Alec and Carl, you're now the fourth and fifth members of the jury!

- There is no #2, that's it! If you guess correctly, you win!
- Strategizing and trash talking other Steemian's choices highly encouraged!
PRIZES
The winner will receive (in order of importance):
- Bragging rights immortalized forever on the blockchains
- PLUS - the total amount of SBD generated from all contest posts until someone wins.
- Additional prizes may be added if we pick up sponsorships along the way.
I'm continually looking for ways to increase the prize pool for this contest. If anyone has any ideas as the week goes on, please let me know - I would love to give bigger prizes to the winners!
DEADLINE
Set in the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji, the next episode of Survivor David vs. Goliath will air 8pm on Wednesday, December 5th. The deadline for this week's contest is:
8am EST on Wednesday December 5th.
At that point I will lock your choices. A winner announcement post will follow.
WHAT IFs
- If more than one Survivor contestant is voted off on this episode, that means you have more than one chance to win!
- If it's a medical evacuation like we saw in the first and fourth episodes, I will treat it as if the person has been voted off.
- If more than one Steemian guesses correctly, the Steem Prize will be evenly split.
- In the case NO ONE correctly guesses this week, the Steem earned in this post will be saved up and added to the pool for the next Weekly Steemit Survivor Contest.
THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN
This contest is for fun and because @suitcasemama and I are huge Survivor fans. I don't expect the post payouts to be large, but I'll do everything I can think of to increase the pot!

My guess is Gabby. Although I picked her to win the whole season, I think if she's truly coming for Christian as the preview suggests, it might backfire on her. Or at least I hope it does, as I like Christian more than Gabby :)

Christian was amazing! 5 hours!!! It looked like that had to postpone the tribal council that night because it went on for so long, it was already almost dark by the time they finished. Who knew Christian would be such a beast!!?
