RE: Steem Basic Income FAQ Contest - 500 SBI in Prizes

in #contests6 years ago

Indeed! (To paraphrase the replies below and the posts done by @steembasicincome)

  1. Plagirism: Copy someone's post or steal their content with citations AND express authorial approval, expect the subscription to be revoked.
  2. Bad faith: Though a harder case to get into, if you simple act and walk like a dick, then expect it to be terminated like the victims of the Terminator.
  3. Spamming: Spamming content can lend itself to the previous two, but this is a unique case. Basically, create bad content at a rapid pace and expect their to be a loss of membership real pecking soon. Kids, just don't spam.
  4. Flagging: If you flag inappropriately (lends itself to Bad faith) or get flagged a lot, then expect the subscription to fly away like a free bird! Basically kids, don't get in the crosshairs of flaggers.
  5. It should be noted here right now that suspensions do exist, but land in the blacklist and expect to be there for a good god-dang while.
  6. The will of @steembasicincome: If for some god-forsaken reason they decide you don't deserve the subscription you have, they technically can (and shall have to reimburse) and will do. Not because of rando conspiracy, they are a biz that needs to survive Steemit as well. They simply found you being to inactive or causing too much problems to continue your subscription with a blind eye.

Accurate. Response accepted as a qualifying submission. Particularly for 5, (and actually in all cases) there is technically a review process (people can request a peer review if they are blacklisted) but nobody has every requested it. Usually bad actors know they are bad actors, they're just surprised at getting caught.

Officially we suspend memberships instead of terminating (they have to request their refund to get it) but it amounts to the same thing (no more upvotes on that account).

Don't forgot you can also earn points by scoring the clarity and helpfulness of other qualifying responses.

Rating 5 - detailed and covers major points. In my opinion, language is too informal for an FAQ section, but that is just a personal preference.

I will give it a 4 for all the good info but extra words are funny but not my taste when looking for info.

I rate this as 5. You don't need to be down to earth in explaining every detail. Just keep it brief and presentable.
