Banh mi in Vietnam is popular for breakfast! Yesterday I made pate, today I also try to make bread to eat with pate!
Material
All-purpose flour 260g
Yeast 5g
Unsalted butter 20ml
Fresh milk without sugar 170ml
Salt 5g
Sugar 25g
yogurt: 1 spoon
1 egg
Making
Step 1: Put sugar, milk, salt, yeast in a bowl. Mix well and wait 10 minutes.
Step 2: Put flour, eggs, unsalted butter, yogurt in another bowl and mix well.
Step 3: Pour the mixed milk into the flour and mix well.
Step 4: Take the dough out on a flat surface and then knead the dough thoroughly with your hands, the way to knead the dough is to use one hand to stretch the dough, one hand in the middle so that they do not move. Keep folding and pulling the dough several times, to make sure that the dough you see on the surface is no longer rough. When pulling out the flexible dough, it does not stick to your hands
Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
Then divide the dough and shape the cake
Step 5: Incubate the dough for 1 hour to double in size, then take it out in the middle of the cake to shape it.
Finally, bake the cake at 150 - 170 degrees C for 15 minutes. When baking for the first 10 minutes, take out the cake every 3 minutes and spray it with water. After 5 minutes, leave the cake to be crispy.
And here is the result! The temperature and shape of the cake is not beautiful, but it is delicious to eat! will improve next time.
Good luck!
