2 small shallot (s)
3 cloves of garlic
200 g peanuts, roasted
4 tablespoons soy sauce, (Kecap Manis)
1 tsp Sambal Oelek
1/2 lemon (s), the juice
3 teaspoons palm sugar
3 tablespoons oil, for frying
200 ml coconut milk, unsweetened
preparation
Do not grind peanuts in the blender too finely. Peel the shallots and garlic and finely chop. Mix the prepared ingredients with Kecap Manis, Sambal Oelek, lemon juice and palm sugar to a paste.
Heat the oil in a pan or saucepan and sauté the peanut paste for 2-3 minutes over medium heat. Douse with coconut milk. Put the heat down and the sauce for 2-3 min. continue to simmer. If necessary, season with a little soy sauce, salt and pepper. If the sauce is too firm, add some water or coconut milk.
