You'll regret not trying this epic Pâté!
You'll need:
1 shallot
ginger
75 g of butter
250 g chicken liver
1 shot of rum
rosemary
lime juice
salt and pepper
Full recipe:
Add some olive oil into the pan, add ginger, shallot and let it sweat. Next add about 75 g of butter to a clean pan and add chicken livers with rosemary into the pan. If our livers are roasted and still pink inside add 1 shot of rum into the pan and lighten it up to flambé. When the fire is done add lime juice, salt and pepper to your taste.
Throw our livers with our ginger and shallot into a mixer and mix it to fine. We can pour it into a jar and pour some melted butter on top. Wait until butter is stiff and it's ready to serve.
Bon appetit!

I love chicken liver pate and we make it every few months or so. After watching your methods I will check what is different, but it looks very similar to what we do. Once it is made it is gone within a few days.
Hey! thanks for watching let us know if you liked it!
I will definitely let you know once we have tried it.
This was a great video showing the making of pate. This is something I've never seen done and had no idea how to make. I would never have thought you would flambe the livers or add rum for that matter. Nor did I know that you pour melted butter on top. I'll bet this was just delicious. Thanks for sharing the recipe and video.
Hi, thank you a lot for your feedback it's really nice to hear some kind words :) The melted butter makes it to preserve from spoilage :)
I did not know this recipe. It looks delicious and easy.

hey @martinkukucka,
is it possible to use something else than olive oil on the pan ? Personally I do not like to fry on the olive oil and also a lot of people suggest to avoid it.
Hi @cubapl of course you can use any oil you have in the kitchen :)
