Veggie bean burgers
Ingredients
- ½ cup of beans;
- 50 grams of walnuts;
- 1 bunch of cilantro or other greens;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 1 onion;
- 1 egg;
- ½ cup flour;
- salt and black pepper - to taste;
- 2 buns for burgers;
- vegetable oil - for frying;
- 1 tablespoon of ketchup;
- 1 tablespoon green curry paste.
Cooking
Boiled (alternatively canned) chop the beans in a blender, but not much. Add to it chopped nuts, herbs, garlic, onions and egg white. Stir thoroughly, gradually adding flour. If it is watery, add more flour.
Salt, pepper, mix well again and put in the fridge for 10 minutes. At this time in a dry frying pan dry burgers buns. Then pour in the oil and fry the molded bean patties on it. They should be the size of a bun, but not very thick. You need to fry until crisp.
Grease the bottom bun with green curry paste, put the bean patty on it, pour with ketchup and put the second part of the bun. If desired, you can add lettuce and tomato slices to the burger.

This veggies add some freshnees to that burger. I love to serve almost every meal with veggeis. I have some vegetable slicers to cut them.
