Igredients needed
One cup all purpose flour
Salt to taste
Refined/ olive oil ( acccording to your choice)
Water as required
1 Cauliflower
2 tbspn ginger garlic paste
Finely chopped green chiillies
Soya Sauce
Tomato sauce
Chopped capsicum and onion cubes
Cornflour as required
Mayonnaise
Chilli flakes and oregano
2 beaten eggs
Recipe For the roll:
1.Take a bowl and add one cup all purpose flour, one tspn salt, sugar, refined oil and mix well
- Knead the dough by adding milk or water and knead very well (dough should be soft).
- Keep it aside for 10 minutes and divide the dough into desired sized round balls.
- Now dip this ball into flour and keep on rolling board and roll it into a flattened dough. Sprinkle some plain flour on it while rolling to avoid sticking.
Roll the ball up to your desired thickness and length. - Heat the taw and add some oil to it. Place the ready chapati (flattened dough) on it and keep flipping it on both sides.
- Cook it well until you see nice golden color spots on both the sides.
For the manchurian:
1.Cut the cauliflower in big florets.
Make a smooth batter of maida( all purpose flour) corn flour, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp garlic paste, 1/4 tsp red chilly powder and salt using water.
The batter should be neither too flowy nor too thick. It should be dripping consistency.
2.In a frying pan heat oil for frying. Dip the gobi florets in the batter and deep fry till golden brown. Fry in small batches. Take ou on paper napkin and keep aside.
3.In another pan heat oil and add the left ginger & garlic paste and green chillies finely chopped
Stir fry for a minute and then add 2 tspn salt salt and chopped capsicum and onion cubes. A minute later add chopped spring onions.
Now add 1 tspn soya sauce and 1 tspn tomato sauce to it. Mix well.
4.Add fried gobi florets kept aside and add 1 tsp cornflour mixed with 4tbspn water. Toss well.
Your manchurian is now ready.
For the final roll:
1.Take a pan and add a few drops of oil
- Beat an egg and add the pan. Place the roll chapati on it and cook until the egg is ready.
- Take off the chapati off the flame
- Addfunmoods mayonnaise chopped onions and the gobi manchurian to it. Sprinkle a little bit of chilli flakes and oregano
- Roll it in a cylindrical form and wrap the ends with aluminium foil
Your Gobi Manchurian roll is now ready to be served!
Note- You can choose not to add egg if you are a vegetarian.
