For these with a craving for home food, time to relish this chicken broth with veggies. Easy to cook, just 40 minutes only. So lets get started.
INGREDIENTS
1 kg chicken leg pieces
1 big size tomato
1 big potato
1 medium onion
1 bulb garlic
Ginger
5 piece green chilly
1 king chilly ( If you want more spicy)
6-7 piece of wild black pepper
50 gm beans
Spring onion or coriander leaves to garnish
STEPS
- Heat the cooking pan with 4 table spoons of cooking oil and toss the chicken in it about 2-3 minutes.
- Add 1/2 or 1 litre of water based on your gravy preference.
- Add chopped onion, tomatoes, potatoes, chilly and salt into the chicken. Let it boil for 10 minutes.
- Then add half of the chopped garlic and let it boil about 15 minutes.
- Now, add the remaining garlic and ginger into the broth. Mash the potatoes in the pot so that the gravy thicken a bit. Then let it cool another 5 minutes.
- Add the beans/vegetables together with black pepper. You can take the pot off be burner when the beans/vegetables is cooked as per your liking. Then garnish with doing spring onion or coriander leaves.
Boom....Ready to eat.
