This is my "step two" in making spaghetti and meatballs.
Making meatballs
Preheat the oven to 425F or 220 C.
Firstly, measure your meat. My bowl here was about 1.5 lbs, so I had to adjust. I have about 4 pounds of ground beef here - it doesn't have to be exact though.
To the ground beef, add:
- 3-4 eggs (or 1 egg per pound or meat)
- 1/4 cup onion flakes (or 1 Tablespoon per pound)
- 2 Tablespoons garlic granules (or 1/2 Tablespoon per pound)
- 2 Tablespoons parsley (or 1/2 Tablespoon per pound)
- 1-2 Tablespoons sea salt (or 1/4 - 1/2 Tablespoon per pound)
- some ground pepper, optional.
Next, wash your hands and get ready to get really messy because the best way to mix all this up is with your hands! Mix it until the eggs and seasoning are really well mixed into the meat.
Once mixed, form into uniform balls. For these, I use about a palm-sized piece of meat and roll it into a ball.
The balls get place into a pyrex pan. Close together is fine, they will shrink slightly from melting fat.
Place in oven and bake about 15 minutes (longer if you don't plan on heating them a second time as I am.)
Now, my meatballs are ready for mixing with the sauce for spaghetti and/or canning for future meals of spaghetti.
Here is your recipe card for printing out.
Two of my kitchen witches. One hung in my grandmother's kitchen as long as I can remember, so I have mine - adding a certain magickal spice to my cooking, presumably...
My grandmother's now lives in my mother's kitchen.

Hi there! I saw your account mentioned by someone talking about the new hardfork update.
Anyway, I think you deserve a few more upvotes on your content. Plus I thought I would let you know about the Food Fight Friday competition that's being run through the #fff hashtag.
They are always looking for more entrants.

Thanks for the support. I'm sure you can tell that I work hard to keep my posts high quality. I believe that high-quality content is what will keep Steem afloat - no matter what the HFs will bring.
I will take a look at that hashtag.
Thanks.
Yes, you do create high quality posts and it's a shame that you aren't getting more exposure. I try my best, but I just don't have the skills to post at that level.

I have the ability to teach - even remotely. I enjoy that. I also love to write - always have. I love that Steem means I don't have to have just one niche (that's why previous attempts to blog failed - plus I'm terrible at marketing!)
I think everyone can produce high-quality content - if they have the time - and if they can just slow down a little to think their way through it. Of course, length isn't everything - though it can help. Your post that I just upvoted/commented on (about that line in Prisoner) is quite powerful in its own little way.
I was actually criticized over at Whaleshares for my lengthy posts! Apparently, they're more interested in soundbites. Of course, now that their hard forks have settled down a bit and I can post as I like, I've continued my stories there - with the blessings of several witnesses. :-)
Those look really good like the witches

Thanks. This is a recipe that I consider a "keeper" in my files. I keep going back to it.

Love your kitchen witches, especially that one on the right! She is adorable! 😊
Thank you! I think the one on the right came from Glastonbury in England. I have one more to add still, from another period of my life.
Wow 🤤
Thanks!
Wow great entry @viking-ventures. My family loves meatballs, just last week my family was at our farm and @thebigsweed and I rolled close to 200 of them. Half were just munched on out of my crockpot, the other half finally made it to dinnertime. woof!
Awesome!
I'm glad you liked my post/entry.
Thanks for stopping by!
Oh dear, you've made one of my absolute favourite comfort foods, I'll have meatballs every day! Your recipe sounds delicious:)
Glad to make your day with this then! Sometimes, we are given some ground elk or antelope and I've used those in the same recipe - I can almost get them past my girls...
