[Napa Cabbage Dumplings]
Too cute to eat! Napa cabbage dumplings can be seen in Chinese course dish. Dumplings with the shape of Napa cabbage. Colored in green with spinach juice, and it boosts nutrition and taste. Ingredients
2~3 servings
200g ground pork
1/6 Napa cabbage kimchi
40g chives
1/4 onion
Filling Sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1/2 tablespoon rice wine
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
1 pinch salt and black pepper
White Dumpling Wrappers
1 cup flour
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 pinch salt
Spinach Dumpling Wrappers
1 cup flour
1/3 cup spinach juice
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 pinch salt
Instructions
STEP 1) Chop the chives. Mince Napa cabbage kimchi and onion and drain. Combine ground pork, chopped kimchi, onion, chives, and filling sauce in a large bowl
TIP. Take leaves from 4 stalks of spinach and put into the blender with 1/2 cup water. Remove the pulp using a fine mesh strainer to make spinach juice.
STEP 2) Put White and spinach dumpling wrappers ingredients to 2 different bowl, knead enough until the flour is disappeared, wrap the dough separately in plastic bag and let it sit for 30 mins.
STEP 3) Roll white and dumpling dough to form a cylinder shape, and wrap over white dough with spinach dough.
STEP 4) Take a piece of the dough (about 12g), roll each piece out with a rolling pin round circle disk.
(Dusted a bit of flour and roll the dough thinly.)
STEP 5) Place the filling in the center of the wrapper, wrap and shape it like Napa cabbage, steam it about 8~10 mins in a preheated steamer.
STEP 6) Transfer the cooked dumplings to a plate and serve.
(Serve with soy vinegar sauce as a dipping to your preference)
