I remember when I was a child, we cut down our coconut tree and my neighbour took the heart of the tip part of that coconut tree, he lets us eat the soft and sweet juicy part and I like it. In some region of Indonesia, beside the sago tree (uhmm still palm family too) this heart of palm became a main food with different process of course.
